Banquet - Saturday, 5th July - 4:30pm to 11:00pm Pre-Tournament - Monday to Friday, 7th-11th July - 8:30am to 4:00pm Children's Day - Monday, 7th July - 10:00am to 3:00pm Tournament - Day 1 - Saturday, 12th July - 7:30am to 6:00pm Masque Ball - Saturday, 12th July - 6:30pm till midnight Tournament - Day 2 - Sunday, 13th July - 7:30am to 4:00pm Post-Tournament - Monday, 14th July until done - 8:30am to 4;00pm Information If only working over the Tournament weekend, volunteers are required to work at least 4 hours each day, Volunteers are also needed one week before and after the Tournament. Before -:to set-up the grounds; clerical duties at the Museum; costume co-ordinating (some sewing skills will be necessary); and some handyperson work. After - to pack up and clear the grounds; and to pack and store Tournament props at the Museum. You are required to: Attend a Festival/Tournament/Banquet meeting on a Saturday in June 2008 at the Abbey Museum to learn of respective duties and allocation of costumes. Meet the Volunteer Co-ordinator at the Volunteer Centre 15 minutes prior to commencement time on rostered Tournament days. Sign on and off duty at the Volunteer Centre. (Required for Workplace Health and Safety.) Not smoke whilst on duty.

PERSONAL DECLARATION AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT I acknowledge that while engaged in this voluntary service with the Abbey Museum and the Abbey Medieval Festival I will act with courtesy and integrity in all my dealings at all times. I acknowledge that I will take direction from those Co-ordinators and Officers assigned to work with me and report to my delegated area on time and as required. I understand that if I do not fulfil my part of the agreement (i.e. collect my event pass but do not turn up to work my allocated shifts) I will be billed for the cost of the pass. In the event of accident, misadventure or illness I will contact the Museum as early as possible so a replacement volunteer may be found. I declare that I will carry out my voluntary duties with the Abbey Medieval Festival to the best of my ability whilst observing workplace, health and safety procedures.
