Formerly known as “Free Children’s Day” the Abbey Medieval Festival’s special day for 3-12 year olds is back, BIGGER AND BETTER!

The overwhelming success of the 2009 Kids Day amongst numerous obstacles has inspired some fantastic changes.  We asked our visitors what they wanted and now in 2010, we will deliver!

In 2010, parents and groups can book in advance for their children’s workshops and activities.  To facilitate this, we have introduced a minimal entry fee, and very small charges for some of the workshops.  In 2010, you won’t have to queue for workshop tickets, and you can plan and book the day according to your family’s schedule and needs, and in the comfort and quiet of your own home.
